Round Table is an association made by youth under 40 years old. They come from different social and cultural contexts and from various professions. Members have a common dynamic vision and a remarkable generosity. Their motto “ADOPT, ADAPT, IMPROVE” includes the purpose of their work for. Each club, called Table, want to promote social development by adopting past methods to solve problem and adapting them to the current reality. Thanks to friendship and national or international contacts, the Round Table organizes philanthropic initiatives, called services, which involves directly the tablers..
The Round Table was founded in Norwich in 1927 by an English Rotarian’s enlightenment, Louis Marchesi. He decided to create this new club because of the need of a meeting point for young men, who were at the beginning of their working life. The organisation appeared in 1958 in Italy thanks to the Milan Round Table. Nowadays, there are more than 60 Italian clubs..
The Charter Meeting on the 16th April in 1994 is the foundation act of the 48th Italian Table, the Riva del Garda Round Table. This club was founded thanks to the support of the R.T. 10 of Trento and the R.T. 29 of Rovereto. Internationally, our twin club is the R.T. 24 of Linz. Our activity is especially addressed to local solidarity association and to national Services. In the R.T. 48 emblem, the national Round Table icon, which is the symbol of important virtues, seems to be the wind that blows up our table sails and permit us to reach our goals.
